Protesters shouted slogans in support of Hamas and denounced Palestinian Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein for his affiliation with the Palestinian Authority.

"Such comparisons demean the Holocaust and contaminate American political speech," the American Jewish Congress said in response to Greene's comments, demanding she apologize for them.

Palestinians were also warned against making statements to “suspicious parties impersonating relief or charitable institutions.”

The IDF believes that following the blow to Hamas' defense array (the Metro) it will be able to carry out targeted and accurate attacks on terrorist targets and infrastructure in Gaza when necessary.

The UNSC "mourned the loss of civilian lives resulting from the violence" and "stressed the immediate need for humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian civilian population, particularly in Gaza."
