The judges presiding over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption trial accepted late Monday night a request by his defense team to push his scheduled Tuesday testimony to Wednesday. The reason for the request was so that Chief Attorney Amit Hadad would be free to represent Jonathan Urich, a close adviser of the prime minister. Urich was held for questioning on Monday, as suspicions of alleged connections between Urich and Qatar grew stronger.

Three people were killed and ten more injured on Monday after a gas explosion at a mosque in Uzbekistan, the country's emergencies ministry said.In a statement published on Telegram, the ministry said that the blast had struck the bathroom of a mosque in Uzbekistan's eastern Andijan region.It said that an investigation was ongoing into the blast, which came during the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

President Donald Trump said on Monday that US attacks on the Iran-backed Houthis, an armed movement that has taken control of the most populous parts of Yemen, will continue until they are no longer a threat to freedom of navigation."The choice for the Houthis is clear: Stop shooting at US ships, and we will stop shooting at you. The administration of Republican President Donald Trump announced a review on Monday of federal contracts and grants at Harvard University over allegations of antisemitism."The Task Force will review the more than $255.6 million in contracts between Harvard University, its affiliates and the Federal Government," the Education Department, Department of Health and the General Services Administration said in a joint statement."The review also includes the more than $8.7 billion in multi-year grant commitments to Harvard University and its affiliates," it said.

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he could travel to Saudi Arabia as soon as next month and the trip will include visits to other countries as well, such as Qatar and possibly the United Arab Emirates."It could be next month, maybe a little bit later," Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
